The Right to Virtual Vote
“To implement a reliable and progressively secure system to allow all voting-age citizens the equal right to submit their vote conveniently and securely each election cycle. The true “Popular Vote” will be counted efficiently and publicly presented, and acknowledged by, both houses of Congress, as well as the President of the United States...”
If we are each truly equal, then treat our individual votes with equal priority using the technology and security available to do so. Only then will we know the Collective Voice of this Great Nation.
If the networks exist that protect classified information within our highest security systems that receive hack attempts daily...and we feel comfortable enough to submit our taxes online or check our bank accounts online daily...why would we not take advantage of such a system to also protect what is most priceless to us: Our Right to Voice?
Even on the most primitive levels, virtual private networks exist that enforce employees to access corporate-proprietary information or doctors to access your medical record information.
The technology currently exists for all United States voting-age citizens to cast votes conveniently and securely, if they so choose.
Until such a system is implemented, and operates efficiently and securely, no leader can say, straight-faced, they are the voice of the citizens they represent.
A pulse on the People’s Perspective is essential and must be prioritized accordingly.
Long Live EVERYONE'S Freedom of Voice.
