Right to Paid Leave & Affordable Child Care
To the plight of all mothers: your resilient efforts are not in vain.
The sons and daughters of America need your collective voice — and your government must finally listen.

After courageously making the first and most sacred choice — bringing life and personhood into this world — it is the least your government can do to build the foundation that allows both mother and child to survive and thrive within it.

The False Divide
The endless battle between Pro-Life and Pro-Choice is a tragic illusion.
Neither means anything if the child and mother are born into a system that gives them little chance to succeed.

A nation that proclaims to value life must prove it — through paid family leave, accessible childcare, maternal health, and child development programs that function.
Otherwise, we remain a civilization that sanctifies birth but neglects life.

A New National Priority
Before the Millennial Generation drifts into America’s first Lost Generation --
after decades of policymaker neglect toward mothers and children --
a new priority must be established:
the lifelong development of the American Child and the protection of those who raise them.

Regardless of ethnicity, income, or background, we must accept a simple truth:
to abandon any child’s potential is to abandon the future of the Nation.
A country is only as strong as its most desperate child.

The Right to Paid Family Leave
In the United States today, over 80% of employed mothers must risk income or career to raise a newborn.
This is not choice — it is coercion by neglect.

The time has come for the U.S. to join over 80% of nations worldwide that guarantee paid family leave as a human right.
Through shared contribution between employer and employee, at least 8 weeks of paid family leave has proven economically viable, socially stabilizing, and morally unassailable.

Unpaid leave is unrealistic, and its cost is generational.
Early, emotionally responsive parenting shapes a lifetime — and interference with that foundation benefits no one.

The Right to Accessible, Affordable, and Appropriate Child Care
If 90% of a child’s brain develops in the first five years, then to abandon those years is high treason to the American Dream.

Modern science confirms that early adversity leaves biological scars.
The state has an obligation to ensure that childcare environments nurture development, not trauma.
To tolerate outdated, inconsistent, or exploitative care is to quietly sentence future generations to diminished potential.

America’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs must be re-evaluated, modernized, and funded to match what neuroscience and justice demand.

Preparing the Next Generation of Care and Service
As young Americans reach working age, proper guidance must light the path.
Accessible career counseling, credit-earning internships, and apprenticeships in vital fields — particularly healthcare, education, and home health — must replace the false promise of debt-heavy degrees and vanishing jobs.

A society that undervalues those who care for its children and elders will soon find no one left to care at all.
The Home Health workforce, largely women of color and immigrants, deserves fair pay, standardized training, and public respect equal to its essential role.

The BUILD Act — Building Opportunity and Connectivity
The vast potential of the BUILD Act remains untapped.
It offers a chance to mobilize American talent toward infrastructure renewal, digital access, and environmental resilience.

By connecting veterans, students, and the long-term unemployed with paid public work in their own communities,
the BUILD Act can restore dignity through contribution — and rebuild the connective tissue between citizen and state.

Citizen Connectivity Devices (CCD) & Applications (CCA)
The same technology that enables commerce and entertainment must now enable democracy, education, and health.

Citizen Connectivity Devices or Applications can deliver verified, equitable access to:
  • Secure digital voting and resolution participation
  • Direct, science-based health guidance from NIH, CDC, and AMA sources
  • Early-childhood and parenting resources
  • Real-time FDA alerts, weather warnings, and public safety updates
  • Financial literacy and family budgeting tools
  • Employment and education guidance tied to verified market needs

Bridging the Digital Divide is the next chapter in the evolution of human rights — equal access not only to information, but to opportunity itself.

The Altruist Party Vision
If the first Americans could thrive for millennia in balance with nature — without modern technology — imagine the good we can achieve with it, guided by conscience instead of greed.

Human nature is neither all good nor all bad; it is what we choose to cultivate.
When we invest in mothers, children, and caregivers, we invest in the durability of our democracy.

In Good We Trust.
